Job Responsibilities:
- Employ effective skip tracing techniques to locate and notify debtor of delinquent accounts through outbound/inbound calls.
- Inform customers of their overdue accounts and solicit payment while adhering to F.D.C.P.A laws and Apex policies and procedures.
- Counsel, problem solve and negotiate with confidence.
- Obtain and update demographic information and maintain concise notes for each call.
- Read and comprehend credit reports, bankruptcy documentation, and debtor correspondence.
- Meet or exceed monthly collection goals.
Qualifications to apply:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year collections experience
- Ability to work a full time schedule including day, evening and weekend hours
- Proficient PC skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized and able to prioritize projects and multi-task
- Strong analytical problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Should have a demonstrated capacity for working in a team-based environment
- Must be professional and have desire to succeed in this industry
- Satisfactorily complete a criminal background check
Compensation:
- Base salary $11-$15 per hour (determined by experience & educational accomplishments)
- Monthly uncapped bonus potential
